Orphans of AIDS Hike 2007

In November 2007, SF Rotaract collaborated with our sister Rotaract club in Johannesburg, South Africa to raise funds benefitting orphans of AIDS at the Rotary-sponsored Itsotseng Kids Club in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ethiopia Reads 2008

SF Rotaract worked with our Rotarian advisor Boris Hesser to donate $1,000 of club funds to the nonprofit organization Ethiopia Reads. Combined with funds from the Rotary #2 club, a matching grant from Rotary International, and other donors, the $75,000 total donation works to promote literacy and education to young children throughout Ethiopia.
